Shilajit, Ginger and Cayenne Tea

A perfect way to start the day during the cold winter months.

This recipe provides warmth in several ways,

The warm water, ginger and cayenne will all stimulate circulation and digestion and create warmth within the body, opening the pathways for the Shilajit to then come in with vital nutrition and cellular energy.

Recipe:

Ingredients:

Himalayan Shilajit (100-300 Milligrams)

Fresh Ginger Root (10 Grams)
Or
Ginger Powder (1/2 Teaspoon)

Cayenne Pepper (1/4 Teaspoon)

Spring Water

Note: Using fresh ginger will make a better tea, however if you want something quick and easy ginger powder works great also.

Recipe 1: Ginger Powder Method (Time 1-2 Minutes)

  1. Add your spring water to a kettle. Bring to a boil.

  2. Add a pea sized blob of Shilajit, 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger Powder and 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper to your drinking vessel.

  3. Pour the freshly boiled water over the herbs.

  4. Stir until Shilajit is dissolved.

  5. Enjoy :)

Recipe 2: Ginger Root Method (Time 5-10 Minutes)

  1. In a saucepan, bring 240ml of spring water to a boil.

  2. Finely chop or grate your ginger and add to the freshly boiled water.

  3. Reduce heat to a simmer and leave to steep for 5 - 10 minutes.

  4. Add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and a pea sized blob of Shilajit to your drinking vessel.

  5. Strain the ginger concotion into your drinking vessel and stir until the Shilajit is dissolved.

  6. Enjoy!


Optional Extra: Raw Honey can be added to further boost the vitalizing properties of the drink. It is recommended to wait until the water has cooled (experts recommend no hotter than 48℃) to preserve the enzymatic properties of the honey.
