What is a Copper Ascension/Meditation Pyramid and Why Would I Want One?

A copper ascension pyramid is exactly what it sounds like, a copper pyramid that assists one in ascension/meditation through its geometric form and metallic structure. Through the nature of their design, they create a harmonious, life-giving energy that you can benefit from in ways such as “improved sleep, deeper meditation, clearer aura, clearer mind, increased calmness and multitudes more…”.

Why 51.83 Degrees?

  • Balances earth and cosmic energies
  • Connected to golden ratio (1.618) (ϕ ≈ arctan(√1.618) ≈ arctan(1.272) ≈ 51.83°)
  • Believed to promote vitality and a balance between ascension and grounding
  • Used in pyramids of Giza

Note: 51.83 degrees referes to the angle between the base lengths and the apex point, as opposed to the corners of the base and the apex point

Let’s Get Started!

I will be building a large 2m × 2m pyramid, so that I can comfortably sleep and sit within it. However, any size can be made using any pipe diameter. Note that the larger the pyramid, the stronger the energy will be.

Parts:

  • 8 × 22mm × 2m Copper Pipe
  • 4 × 22mm Copper TEE Joints

  • 8 × 22mm Copper 45° Elbow Joints

Equipment Used:

  • 3D Printer (For Topper)
  • Propane Blow Torch
  • Solder + Flux
  • Pipe Cutter

First Step: Designing the Pyramid Tip

The main difficulty in building an ascension pyramid is achieving the 51.83° face angle correctly and accuratley for each side of the pyramid (the angle between the base edges and apex point, as opposed to the angle between the base vertices and the apex which is around 41°) . For this reason, it is very beneficial to use a CAD/CAM combination in order to achieve accurate parts.

I designed the pyramid top using the 3D software FreeCAD. It was more complex than the systems I had used in the past and took some learning, namely to get the slots that the copper pipe would fit into angled correctly against both the X and Y axes. After a couple of iterations I made it work and produced a piece which I deemed to be quite effective. It’s a simple pyramid with 4 holes that the copper pipes slot into — nothing fancy but it gets the job done! Developing the model in CAD is very beneficial in helping one to understand the geometry.

I printed a couple of prototypes as I was designing to view the progress, and was finally left with a functioning pyramid holder.

Second Step: Corners of the Pyramid

Achieving the corners of the pyramid is a much simpler task now that we have the pyramid topper with correct angles. Combining two 45° elbows with a tee joint in between creates the necessary 90° angle for the base and a Tee Joint socket that can swivel to achieve the necessary angle. Assembly of the pyramid can now begin.

Firstly, the copper pipes must be cut to length, as the base edges are a different length from the apex edges. They should be cut at a ratio of 1 : 0.951. Therefore, if one chooses to build a 2m × 2m pyramid, they will need 4 copper pipes with length 2m and 4 copper pipes with length 190.2cm for the apex edges. Cutting the pipe was simple using a standard pipe cutter. The cutoff was then cut down further to be used to connect the elbows and tee joints together, as they are female joints and required a male connector to go together.

Building the Pyramid

The fun part! I laid the 4 × 2m pipes in a square on the ground before loosely connecting the elbows and T joints at each corner. Then I inserted the apex connectors into both the base and the 3D printed pyramid topper, one by one, with the help of a friend. The pyramid shape is now complete! But to capture the shape we must begin soldering.

Since we want to be able to take the pyramid apart, we will only be soldering the corner elbows and tee joints together, effectively capturing the correct angle of ascent as well as the 90° base angle. To solder, I first applied a layer of flux (which I would later regret) before heating up with a propane torch and applying solder. I repeated this for all 4 corners.

And just like that, the pyramid is finished! We now have 4 soldered corner pieces, 4 base pieces, 4 apex pieces, and one pyramid topper, which can be disassembled and moved as pleased.

I keep mine in my room and sleep within it, noticing profound effects!

Future Improvements

Now as to why I regret using the flux: since we are basically soldering in an airtight pyramid copper “balloon,” all the flux vaporizes and coats the inside of the pyramid leaving a horrid and headache-causing odour. It was necessary to take the pyramid back out of my room where I had set it up again, bring it out to the garden, and pump several rounds of soapy water through the structure. This helped massively, but in future I would avoid using flux — maybe hand sanding the joints before soldering as an alternative.

The 3D printed topper does not conduct energy as well as if it were made from copper, something I will be exploring in the future…

One change I have made since is drilling a small screw into the underside of the topper, to which I fashioned and attached a hook made out of thin copper wire so that pendulums or other sacred geometric healing devices can be hung from the centre.

Final Thoughts

Overall I am very pleased with how it turned out! It is a phenomenal addition to my space! I could not recommend building one more. The total material cost was ~£130, a small price to pay for the benefits you get in return.

Immediately, the first time sitting in the pyramid I could feel the energy. A great sense of calmness and tranquility that felt like a huge weight off my shoulders and a release of mental and physical tension. It is very good at at harmonizing your energy and bringing you closer to divine form — you may notice you start to correct your posture more, you will feel calmer and more aware, more grounded, more relaxed (parasympathetic activation) as your energy is cleared and aligned. The pyramid works continuously and basically all by itself and compliments activities such as meditation and yoga very well. I use mine mainly for sleeping in and occasional meditation, ive noticed my sleep has improved drastically, and I find myself less “disturbed” by foreign energies throughout the night. Waking up in the morning I now jump out of bed, energized, excited and ready for the day ahead.. something I've been missing for years! Just to give you a brief picture of a few of the possible benefits you can expect!

Charging and cleansing the pyramid can be beneficial, keeping sacred geometries nearby, around or in it or using sage/palosanto or just positive intention to 'clear'/charge the pyramid. As with all, intention can have a huge impact and im sure that closely working with the pyramid could see great results.

These are phenomenal tools and a must-have for those seeking spiritual and physical healing and development.
