Through visionary experiences and past life regressions I have become aware of the fact that in past lives, during the time of Ancient Egypt, I frequently worked with and consumed the blue lotus flower to retrieve its entheogenic wisdoms. Whether as a role in the priesthood or higher, I am still unsure. Yet it is clear to me that these past wisdoms have stuck with me till now…

Back To The Beginning

The Blue Lotus for some is the beginning of the cure to all. It is awareness and therefore divine light, made manifest in plant form. There is no plant more holy or sacred than the Lotus, there is no plant or substance which assists in the restoration of the divine human blueprint than the Lotus. Its form represents the human journey of ascension, bringing heaven to earth.

A common Buddhist thought goes along about how the Lotus begins its life submerged in the murky depths of a riverbank, akin to the ‘dark and dirty’ times we live in now, yet untouched, rises through the waters, in search of the heavens (sunlight), only to blossom into a beautiful, unscathed flower, the representation of heaven achieved on earth.

Consumption of the Blue Lotus has the effect of returning one to their divine state of be-ing, the awakening to and of the pure awareness that we are.

How does the Blue Lotus promote spiritual awareness?

The form of the Blue Lotus closely mimics our own physical form and chakra column, beginning with its submerged roots, its rising stem and blooming crown. The Lotus, from the moment it seeds, begins its journey to the light above, rising through murky waters to realise its truest potential, bringing the heavenly beauty above down to the earthly plane.

The Lotus purifies and shines light onto our awareness, alleviating psychotic limiting beliefs through its anti-psychotic properties and therefore uncovering the inner light that we truly are, enabling the highest expression of ourself to manifest in the physical. From the awakened perspective the blue Lotus bestows, thoughts and beliefs which do not serve us are now seen as they truly are, and the choice to go beyond is ever more present.

In a more physical sense, the Blue Lotus nourishes and balances all chakra centres and their corresponding organs. A well balanced chakra column allows for a greater expression of ones truest self to flow through. In this way, the balancing and alignment of our bodies energy centres can be seen as a glimpse into greater versions of ourselves. A remembrance of that which we are. A glimpse which both integrates, activates and accelerates.

The Blue Lotus purifies, aligns and awakens, encouraging our highest expression to manifest.

How does the Blue Lotus bestow enlightenment?

For those who are stuck on a path seeking enlightenment, the Blue Lotus might just bring you a step closer. In reality of course there really is nowhere to go, but that might just be too simple for some. Through the expanded awareness you receive, light may be brought to the illusion of the enlightenment journey, as one returns to their be-ing awareness, cup by cup, flower by flower.

Consuming the Blue Lotus flower for spiritual purposes is less so about , instead it is the return to that which was forgotten, that with which you always are but just didn’t know it.

The Blue Lotus sheds light to illusion, allowing truth, clarity and awareness to shine through.
